The objective of this guide is to provide step-by-step instructions on how to configure
menus within the application.
Expected output:
1st Step
If you want to attach a form to a menu, the first step is to create the form.
You can create the form in the system by using either the transaction form UI or
the list form UI. Choose one of these options to create your form and then save it.
2nd Step
We are using the transaction form here. We will use this form, which we will then attach
to the menu.
3rd Step
Now, to configure the menu, go to the "System Navigation" section in the system.
4th Step
Now, click on the "+" icon. The sidebar will open, and the form will appear. You can now configure the form.
5th Step
Now, configure the menu form by adding the title, order, and description as per your
requirements. For the "Show in Menu" switch, if it's turned on, the menu will be displayed;
if turned off, it won't appear in the menu. Set the icon as per your preference and provide
the URL for the menu. Be sure to start the URL with “apps/” followed by your specific URL
(e.g., “apps/YourURL”).
6th Step
Now, we will attach the form to the menu configuration. To do this, go to the "Content Form"
section and click "Add New." Provide a title for your form, then select the form you want to
attach to the menu. Next, choose the view type: if you created the form using the List Form,
select that option; if you used the Transaction Form, select the appropriate option.
Additionally, set the width according to your preference and confirm the configuration.
7th Step
You should now see the menu on your screen. Save the changes, then refresh the system,
or log out and log back in. The menu will be updated and displayed in your menu section.
